FAQ

  • How much does it cost?

It depends on size, design and session length.

  • Minimum charge

Tattoo minimum charges vary by artist and studio, with a general minimum of $150 per session. This covers equipment, supplies, and time, ensuring quality regardless of size. I prioritize safety with disposable materials and fresh supplies for each session, which adds to costs but guarantees hygiene. Multiple tattoos in one appointment can be more affordable. Charges reflect the artist's expertise and the effort in creating unique art, helping clients make informed decisions for a lasting piece.

  • Tattoo deposit

To book an appointment, we require a minimum $100 deposit. For larger tattoos or those that take more time, the deposit may be higher.

    Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits are applied to the design fee or tattoo cost. If you cancel, don’t show up, or fail to provide at least 72 hours' notice to reschedule, your deposit will be forfeited. You can reschedule once within a 1-2 month period with 72 hours' notice. If you miss the rescheduled appointment, it will be considered a cancellation, and your deposit will be lost.

  • How to choose the design?

Consider what tattoo you want and where you’d like it. Gather some references to help me understand your vision, and I'll create a unique design. We'll discuss sketches and examples to ensure your tattoo is perfect.

  • How safe is tattooing?

Tattooing is generally safe when performed by a trained and experienced professional. It's essential to choose a reputable artist who follows safety protocols, such as using sterile needles, disposable gloves, and changing needles between sessions. Additionally, proper aftercare is crucial for maintaining the safety and integrity of your tattoo.

  • Does it hurt?

Yes, it does, but often not as much as you might expect. Most people describe the sensation as similar to a scratch or mild sunburn. While there are many "pain maps," individual experiences can vary, so your body may react differently.

  • How to prepare for the session?

Tattooing takes time, so I highly recommend eating enough before your session and staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Before your appointment, consider taking a bath and applying a light lotion. This helps keep your skin smooth and makes it easier for both of us to work together.

  • Are there any restrictions before the session?

The most important thing is to avoid alcohol for at least a few days before your session, as it can affect blood clotting and hinder the healing process. Additionally, please refrain from taking aspirin or other painkillers.

  • How long does the session take?

It varies based on the tattoo size, but typically one session lasts from 1 to 3 hours. For larger designs, be prepared for multiple sessions.

  • How should I care for my new tattoo?

We provide specific after-care instructions during your session. The main advice is to avoid scratching your tattoo, as it may be painful for a few days and scratching can cause significant damage. Additionally, protect your tattoo from rapid temperature changes, sunlight, and water to ensure proper healing.
